Chikyu no Kata - Earth

Chikyu no Kata is the first Shodan (black belt) level Kata in our system. The original kata from the Palgue series was very modified from its authentic Kata. Chikyu no Kata is mostly taught through private classes as the student begins to approach their Shodan exam. It requires many hours of dedicated practice and a perfect understanding of the foundation upon which the martial arts is built. Master Franz spent several years of study to find this Kata's original methods and structure.

The Bunkai to Chikyu no Kata is extensive and deep. This Kata offers joint manipulations, chokes and vital point striking hidden within its technical base. Master Franz has once said that if a student spends a lifetime studying Chikyu no Kata they may just touch on all the great aspects hidden within it.
